New Patients

If you’re visiting our Ottawa chiropractic care center for the first time, we’d like you to know what to expect. It’s our goal to make your time with us a relaxing and empowering experience.

Ottawa Chiropractic Clinic is often described as comfortable and welcoming. Our beautiful facility has a warm ambience that’s attractive and inviting. We hope you think so, too.

Your First Visit

As you enter our practice, you’ll be warmly greeted and invited to complete your new patient paperwork. Before meeting with one of the doctors, you’ll be taken on a quick tour of the office so that you can familiarize yourself with your surroundings.

You’ll then be escorted to our consultation room to meet with either Dr. Michael Hiatt or Dr. Cheri Jung. A detailed assessment will take place, including

•  A consultation
•  An orthopedic evaluation
•  A neurological scan using state-of-the-art computerized technology
•  X-rays, if necessary (we offer on-site facilities for your convenience)

Your Second Visit

Your second appointment will also take about 30 minutes. During this visit, the doctor will evaluate your examination, scan and X-ray findings to help you understand the source of your problem. Customized care options that align with your stated goals will be offered for your consideration. We want to help you start feeling your best quickly and efficiently! Financing and insurance options will also be discussed.

You’ll then conclude your second visit with your first gentle chiropractic adjustment.

Subsequent Visits

Once your initial evaluation has been completed, future visits only take between 10 and 15 minutes. It depends on your case and the severity of your condition. We always stress to our patients that how long they want to receive chiropractic care is entirely up to them.
